This wool blend Shacket was inspired by the designer's grandpa's favorite flannel coat, now a vintage piece in her closet. Wanting the quality and warmth of grandpa's jacket with a feminine design birthed the beautiful Shay Shacket we have today!

Lev Apparel partnered with the three sisters of Nary Resort to make this beautiful shacket you see today. They helped source this wool blend fabric, create our labels and manage the project from start to finish and we are so grateful. 

Fairsew is the incredible manufacturer out of Cambodia who sewed all these pieces! Fairsew provides safe working environments and pays their employees far above minimum wage, which allows the garment workers to not only pay for their food and rent, but it's also enough to cover any education for their children as well as save money for their future. Fairsew also ensures no child labor enters their workforce and believes that their employees deserve to be recognized for their work by rewarding them with benefits well above the standard. Lastly, The garment workers are set up on a membership program with Hope Hospital to ensure they don't have to endure the stress of medical bills. This membership gives them a spending allowance towards medical needs and if they spend that allowance Fairsew subsidizes 10% of any additional medical bills!
