Natacha works in Vi Bella's Port-Au-Prince location as a seamstress and has been with them since 2010. She had to have her leg amputated after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and learned to sew when staying at Mission Of Hope after receiving a prosthetic leg. She was offered a job there and became a Vi Bella employee when Vi Bella took over operations of the Mission of Hope/Three Cords team in 2017. Natacha says, "This work has helped me a lot with my family. It has helped me to take care of myself, my kids, and take care of their education and more."

About the Artisans: The majority of the Vi Bella sewing team learned to sew while waiting to receive prosthetics on the Mission of Hope Haiti campus after the earthquake of 2010 left them amputees. Other members of our sewing team are part of a near-by deaf community.
